Today there has been much progress with the machines image. Working our way down to the more detailed aspects, all of the main structure is now complete and ideas for specific animated parts have been flowing.
The wiring of LEDs has brought the machine to life and many moving objects have been embedding into the structure. These Include a painted keyboard, fan, the conveyor belt gubbins, an equalizer made of baubles, and cogs.
We also made a path of holes in the main body for a snakelike ducting tube to move and slide in and out of - the shot planned for this will be highly dynamic as part of the machine will wriggle out of the holes twisting and turning then dissapearing back before settling down to permanently form part of the structure.
