For this project, LoveBite has colaborated with ODD - a London based creative agency that work with a range of clients.

Filming

Posts on the blog have been few in the last week as we have been busy filming - so busy in fact that we finished today! here's some shots of the last few days, everything really came together nicely. We have stacks and stacks of frames ready for editing now- but only the best will make it into the final edit.

The Incredible Machine

Also on the cards is a re-edit of the track - Fancy Footwork by Chromeo (CSS remix. We will take all the most interesting elements of the track and edit it down to around a minute (the proposed length of the viral).

We've also been busy making customized Kickers too - we've had some back from others, some better than others but me and al have come up with a few of our own we're very happy with. As well as that we have been busy installing the tube lights into the boxes and testing them.

Things have been busy this week at The Factory so have not uploaded in a while - here is some documentation of fitting the box frames and testing the tube lighting.

Filming has well and truly begun now - we are using two high wattage red head lights to capture all the details we need. As its all stop frame its laborious, but oh so fruitful! Most of the colour mastering will be done in post production so as long as we get the quality now, were set.

Day 6-7

Sunday saw through most of the finishing touches to the machine, it is now almost complete (only a few details and touching up to be done)

The top of the machine now has tubes extruding from it and movable round speakers, the tubes will be different colours and be animated to slide up and down to add even more movement.

We have also been experimenting with lighting and found some interesting glowing effects with UV against the pink (see photo) so it is an option to shoot some shots with the UV.

The boxes have been positioned ready to fit the tube lights that are arriving on wednesday but shooting will start early tuesday regardless. We will be taking test shots and compiling them to form a story board so that it is clear what we have planned.
